Well im looking for a bike to start off, thinking between a 250-600cc bike. Is the Kawasaki Ninja 250R good bike to start off one? Then later a Suzuki GSX-R600, is that also a good bike to start on? thanks for the help.

It depends what type of bike you want? A crotch-rocket, or more of a cruiser?
I looked at a 600F3 last week, but hated the narrowness and the seating position. Now I'm leaning towards a Suzuki SV650.

well the SV650 is pretty nice, but more leaning to a Gsx-R600, if i want to start off in a Suzuki.

I would go with the Ninja 500, I think you would get board quick with a 250. Those little Ninja's look fun you could just man handle the shit out of them.

If you have never ridden before, go with the GN 125. Often you can find one for uner $1000. Its more like a scooter plus, but you can learn the basics before you move up tp more powerful bikes. I really reccommend this as people do not understand how much different a bike is from a car. There is a massive difference between a Ninja ZX-12 and an Eliminator 125 as compared to the difference betweena VW Beetle and a Ferrari. Experienced riders know what I mean. So, don't get a "Ferrari" your first day when you have never even operated a car in your life....as it may be you last.

For anyone just getting started in motorcycles, go to the Cycleworld Forums and look under "What bike to get" and "Newbies". Many people there are experienced and know what works and what doesn't.
